CLINTON camp now admits, she mispoke when suggesting Trump Backers ‘Deplorables' !

Hillary Clinton is drawing criticism after saying that half of Donald Trump's supporters belong in a "basket of deplorables” at a private fundraiser. Clinton stressed the rest of Trump’s supporters feel let down by the government and economy.

 

“You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the 'basket of deplorables'. Right?” she said to applause and laughter.

“The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic — you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up.”

By Saturday morning, #BasketofDeplorables was trending on Twitter as Mr. Trump’s campaign demanded an apology.

“Wow, Hillary Clinton was SO INSULTING to my supporters, millions of amazing, hard working people. I think it will cost her at the polls!” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter.

A spokesperson for Clinton in her defense, stated that she had MIS-spoken, and that she did not mean to offend any of the Trump base supporters. And explained that it was simply a TYPO as what she really meant to say was, 
a basket of ... 'DEPORTABLES'
