In a Wednesday video message, Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek revealed to fans that he's been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
Cancer staging is complex: It’s an important way to define what’s going on, but how the tumor behaves and the treatment required depends on many complex factors. Some tumors can be removed surgically, others can’t without major side effects.

Learning about Trebek's struggle with pancreatic cancer crushed her son, said Debbie Stevens, a pulmonary fibrosis survivor from Brooklyn. She decided to arrange a call for the two of them so her 32-year-old son, Michael Kneeter, could wish Trebek well.

Lovingly Heavenly Father,
ReplyDeleteWe come to you with praise and thanksgiving in our hearts, for this day and every day which is a blessing given by you.
Today we come before you with that mustard seed of FAITH, and in your Holy name we ask that you reach out to Alex Trebek.
We ask Lord that you might touch him this day and everyday, as he confronts the path that lies before him.
Grant him a measure of comfort and a piece of mind, knowing our lives are ordained by you, and that you are in control.
We ask that Alex draw strength knowing that we are all offering up the prayers, suggested by him in his public announcement to us.
Dear God, we ask for a healing of course but more importantly we ask that your will, will be done in his life.
We pray as well Lord, that you give to Alex and to all of us, the GRACE to accept the outcome, whatever that may be.
Believing all things are done according to YOUR will, we ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I want to offer Alex a word of encouragement. I am a cancer survivor, having been diagnosed in 2001 and given perhaps as few as three to five MONTHS. It was with the support and prayers of my church family, and my fervent belief in the power of GOD to still perform miracles today, that I was able to beat that bleak prognosis. It was only by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ that I was afforded the opportunity to watch and enjoy many more years of Jeopardy. I will continue to look in daily and will pray each day for some positive up-dates. May God bless and keep you Alex, and may he allow you to out-live your CONTRACT.
ReplyDeleteIt shows Alex surely does has the faith of a mustard seed because he has shown proof that God is in control and that it all works together for those that believe in Almighty God.🙏🏼
